Point Clark Ontario
Point Clark, located on the shores of Lake Huron is famous for the Point Clark Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built between 1855 and 1859 to warn sailors of the shoal about three kilometers offshore.
The beach provides a photographer"s backdrop of open, blue water against golden sand, beautiful sunsets and decidious trees and grasses.
Four trails wind through the Point Clark trail system, called the Point Clark Greenway Project. The Deer Run Nature Trail, Attawondaron Nature Trail, Clark Creek Floodplain and the Tuscarora Road Nature Trail are multi-use, all-season trails.
There is a hospital, public and secondary schools, lots of shopping and fine restaurants close by in the town of Kincardine.
This makes this area perfect for year round living or a cottage lovers paradise.
